I'm pregnant, sick and tired mostly. Beautiful 5 year old daughter comes up after I've been throwing up and rubs my back and tells me "it'll be better soon and then we get to see Baby Angel". Sweet, innocent love.
My dearest friend dropped in for the night. She's like an anti-depressant. She loves me and I'd trust her with my life.
One of my daughters takes baton lessons, and the other day when she walked up to the group, another little girl ran up and threw her arms around my girl and walked her into the group. It was so sweet.
Would that it were so easy for grown-ups! (And middle-schoolers, 'nuff said.)
